This is definitely the place to stay if you are in Fort St. John. Affordable, and everything was clean and renovated. We typically pay about $150 for a modern room like this, and this was almost half the price.
This motel came as a pleasant surprise. I had booked online because it had the best price and the room pictures looked okay and it was truly pet friendly without charging an arm and arm and leg But, when I actually drove up, I thought "this can't be the right motel" because it was in a crowded urban area and truthfully looked a little sketchy with a small parking lot and people hanging out on the balconies. The very nice guy who registered me assured me this was the right place. My room was very clean, well-appointed with cold fridge and microwave, nice linens on a big bed, a clean shower with hot water and good water pressure and secure locks. By the end of the evening the motel was completely full and there were people everywhere but my room was quiet and comfortable and just what I wanted for the price. The electricity went out around 0700 due to a storm (not just motel electricity -all electricity in the area) but I quickly took a shower before the hot water ran out and had the luxury of being able to wait till the lights came back on to pack. The staff was efficient but courteous. I have had mixed luck with Motel 6 and had even decided they would be my last choice due to past disappointment. But, I love the fact that they are truly pet friendly and not super expensive. This motel 6 shined in the ways that matter to me.
Great staff, clean room, inexpensive. The only thing was the first time I stayed here I couldn't turn the heat on and this time I couldn't turn it off. Plugged the AC in and it also only blew hot air. But all in all a great place to stay.
Booked for the weekend. Good clean room, appreciated the freshen up. Great location. Great value, I'll stay here again..
I usually stay here as the prices are good yes they've done some Much needed Renovations but the Rooms are still VERY DIRTY not being Racist but these east Indian guys running it don't know how to clean rooms I only stay cause of the cheap prices an I bring my own Clorox wipes an clean everything
